The Capers Story
Capers Catering was established in 1997. Sally Birrell, Founder and Managing Director, is passionate about creating inspiring menus looking to excite the palate and exceed your expectations.
Within a short period of time, the business gained a reputation for menus using quality locally grown seasonal ingredients and providing a personal catering service. Much of the growth of the business is due to personal recommendation and repeat custom. Capers provide a diverse 24/7 catering operation.
Dishes are created in our own kitchen by a team of professional chefs, under the inspirational guidance of Sally. Whether it is stylish canapés, mini-meals, vintage high tea or a browsing table we will advise, guide and inspire you.
We make every effort to reduce our carbon footprint sourcing local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible. Our fleet of vans provide a temperature controlled environment in the delivery of food to clients.
The personal service, led by Sally and supported by her team, ensures clients are looked after in all aspects of their catering requirements.
And the story continues… In 2009 Sally travelled to Mozambique to support the work of Nema, a charity providing life saving support and as a result Capers support the work by providing funds to assist in the implementation of the feeding programme.
